Provides meaningful occupation by making your pet work for its millet
Rodipet® Millet Trio is a natural and tasty addition to your pet’s diet and a fun snack. Just like in the wild, your rodent has to work for his or her food. Foxtail millet and sorghum don’t have to be fed as a whole panicle, either – to prevent overfeeding you can simply break off a couple of inflorescences for your pet to enjoy.
Put two or three of the little clusters into your pet’s enclosure at a time. Your pet will eat them bit by bit. Once your pet has finished picking all the individual grains off the panicle section you can replace it with a new bit. However, we recommend waiting a few days after a section has been finished off to keep the millet pieces a special treat. By the way, the Millet Trio comes in a storage tub to keep it fresh and fragrant for quite a while.
The power of millets
Did you know that millet is richer in minerals than any other type of cereal? This makes it a perfect snack for four-legged endurance athletes between their running sessions. Besides magnesium and potassium, millet also contains silica, iron and fluoride.
Do you enjoy nibbling something off a kebab stick? Sprays of millets are the equivalent of kebab for pet rodents: a rewarding task for a busy rodent and a natural snack at the same time.
Turning food into an adventure:
Break a few pieces off the panicles and scatter them inside your pet’s enclosure – searching for their food is far more exciting for your pet than having everything served in one spot.
